Worcester District Scout St Georges Day Parade - 27th April 2014

10 Beavers, 13 Cubs, 8 Scouts and 7 Leaders joined hundreds of others from Worcester District at the annual Worcester District Scouts St George's Day Parade on Sunday 27th April 2014.

The Parade marched from Angel Place to the Cathedral accompanied by the Sea Scout Band. The Mayor of Worcester was present for the service conducted by Canon Dr Michael Brierley. The 3rd Worcester Scout Group provided the St George tableau.

Those who came were entertained in the Cathedral with a series of mexican waves. The sight of a packed Cathedral with mexican waves racing each other down the pews was a sight to be seen.

The weather was a bit showery at the start in Angel Place but remained dry for the march to and from the Cathedral and the impromptu hokey cokey when we had returned to Angel Place.
