Beaver Scout River Walk - Tuesday 9th July 2013

Beavers River Walk

Tuesday 9 July 2013 saw 10th Worcester Beaver Scout Group descend on the peaceful banks of the River Severn, Worcester.  It was a beautiful evening where we walked up alongside Worcester Cathedral, past The Diglis Hotel, over the Diglis Basin, then over the newly erected bridge and back up on the opposite side.  The Beavers were brilliantly behaved, and along the way we talked about the various types of trees lining the banks, we listened to the sound of the weir and also talked about the bird life on the river.

Thanks guys for being great role models for Beaver Scouts and also thanks to the parents who also walked with us. it was a very enjoyable stroll.
